Are Veneers Right for You?
Veneers can conceal a range of aesthetic imperfections. They can be a great solution for those who wish to address:
- Intrinsic stains, which typically do not respond to whitening products
- Small gaps between teeth
- Slightly crooked or overlapping teeth
- Worn or naturally small teeth
- Irregularly shaped or broken teeth
- Small cracks or chips
We mostly use veneers for aesthetic purposes. In some cases, however, the treatment can also strengthen your teeth and prevent additional damage.
Before placing composite veneers, Dr. DeGeorge will evaluate your oral health. Your dentist will treat any existing decay or gum disease before recommending this procedure.
It's easier than ever to help patients discover noticeably whiter smiles. Take-home and in-office teeth whitening treatments are available.
The only tooth whitening system that uses patented heat and LED technology for faster results without sensitivity.
In-office Zoom WhiteSpeed, Day White and Night White Take-home.

What Are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are small metal posts that are surgically placed in the jaw to act as artificial tooth roots. After the implants have been placed, they will fuse with the surrounding bone over the course of four to six months through a process known as osseointegration. Once healed, implants can provide unparalleled support for permanent crowns, bridges, or dentures.
Dental implants are considered to be the best treatment for patients with missing teeth because they provide many benefits that simply cannot be matched by other restorative procedures.
Gum disease is a serious condition that can lead to significant discomfort, bleeding, and tooth loss. Left untreated, it can also increase your risk of heart disease and other conditions. DeGeorge Dental offers a range of periodontal treatments to restore and maintain the health of your gums. Prevention is their primary focus, but they can treat gum disease in any stage. If you are experiencing symptoms of gum disease, you should seek prompt periodontal care.
Through our routine treatment, we can help you prevent gum disease from ever developing.
The Stages of Periodontal Disease .
In the early stages of gum disease, microbes gather along your gum line, causing mild inflammation. This phase of gum disease is known as gingivitis, and it is reversible. If you do not seek treatment, however, the bacteria will spread further into your gums. This can create pockets that eventually cause the gums to pull away from your jawbone and tooth roots. This stage is known as periodontitis, and although it cannot be cured, it can be controlled with proper care.
Root Canal Treatment Can Save Your Tooth
When decay advances to the inner tissue of a tooth, or when trauma exposes this tissue, a simple filling procedure is not enough to restore dental health. A root canal is a more extensive treatment that can save and restore teeth affected by advanced decay or trauma.
If you are experiencing symptoms of advanced decay, or if you have suffered dental trauma, it is important to seek treatment as soon as possible.
Root Canal Candidates
In some cases, advanced tooth decay presents no symptoms. However, in most instances, infected teeth result in symptoms including:
- Sensitivity to heat or cold
- Facial pain
- Internal discoloration
- Chronic bad breath
- Gum abscesses
If you are missing most or all of your teeth, DeGeorge Dental offers several options to meet your needs. Dentures can restore a full arch of teeth, or they can fill large gaps in your smile resulting from the loss of several consecutive teeth. You can select from full, partial, or implant-supported restorations. Our dentures are custom-made using durable, lifelike materials. After you receive your denture, you can enjoy a beautiful smile and restored dental function.
We carefully customize each denture we provide in order to help patients experience the best possible functionality, comfort, and aesthetics.
Types of Dentures: Understanding Your Options .
Partnering with a top-quality lab, we offer several types of dentures. Your choices include:
- Traditional full dentures: Traditional full dentures can be a good option if you are missing all or most of your teeth. These removable dentures have a plastic base that will fit over your gums. They can replace your upper arch, lower arch, or both.
- Traditional partial dentures: Like traditional full dentures, partials are removable. These restorations will replace several consecutive missing teeth. They also consist of a plastic base with clasps that connect the partial denture to nearby teeth.
- Implant-supported dentures: Implant-supported dentures attach to small metal implant posts that are surgically placed in the jaw to replace lost tooth roots. Implant-supported dentures are available as both full and partial restorations.
- Mouth Guards/Night Guards
- Digital Xrays & Panorex
